Clearly mark the boundaries of space and building.

Identify to it; say « this is (me) mine » or « this is (us) ours ».

Believe it will last.

Feel proud about it.

In the process, generate garbage. Of which a lot will indeed live on.

How can we know if what we do with the space we clear out (for which we first need to destroy something while cluttering up someplace else) will be better than what was already there, or better than the space itself? That it will be more necessary?
